Yes I hired Gina for the DOC- she is fantastic :) She is not just a DOC- she is so much more. FANTASTIC so far- she knows her stuff- im going to get my invites etc from her as well... tell her LIweddings sent you for a discount..FM me for more info!!

YES YES YES! we just had her for our wedding - wow...I had hired her for my DOC & she exceeded my expectations 10-fold! I couldnt have asked for a better person to take care of all my details, issues & fears to make our day truly run Flawlessly! I would recommend her w/out hesitation & I plan to use her again for my next catered affair!

We won her services at TWOTY. We won a half day DOC package. However, we met with her 3 times in the 6 months that we had until our wedding...she was available EVERY step of the way...she was wonderful...can't say enough about her!

We had hired her for DOC services, but she helped us fine-tune a lot of our details plus she was available to us as much as we needed so it was like she was our planner - granted we did only hire her about 2 months before our actual wedding, but she was so crucial in helping everything go smooth for us. We live upstate - about 2 1/2 hours away from LI and it was so nice to have someone behind the scenes watching our backs when we couldnt always be there. Another nice thing is that she never 'forced' any ideas on us - she let us run with our vision, and made suggestions to enhance what we already had in mind & encouraged us every step of the way.
I felt very comfortable each time we met in person to go over our details, contracts, etc. By the end of the wedding she felt almost like family instead of just someone I hired to help me. It's very rare to find that in a professional these days.
We only had 8 months to plan our wedding b/c I am a teacher and we had to choose winter recess or summer break to get married. We wanted a longer honeymoon so it was much easier to plan for the summer. Had we had longer to plan our wedding, I would have used her as a full-on planner.
I have watched all the bridal shows where people have these planners & thought I would be able to do things myself when we 1st got engaged. But the closer it got to the wedding, the more I realized that I really needed someone to help me pull all our details together & watch my back & take care of me & my husband on our special day.
The day of our wedding I had a ton of dress issues & Gina was like a magician - anything I needed - she had right with her to help w/ any emergency. I honestly can't say enough good things about her.
I could go on & on, but this has already been pretty long...hehe...
The last thing I will say is that you will NOT be disappointed if Gina is either your planner or your DOC - she truly is amazing & personable all around.
OK 1 more thing...(sorry)...when I called around to get quotes for planners & discuss experience, etc. Gina was the only one out of 12 people we called who offered both telephone & email references on the very 1st phone call - which impressed me right off the bat - and her references from past & future brides were glowing!
