I really forgot to block rooms for the wedding but those that I knew needed rooms actually ended up booking themselves so now i have 2 or 3 families that are asking me if i blocked rooms and i didn't.
I may still be able to get some availability but i want to know before hand how much you girls were given in terms of rate.

did you send your invites out? IMHO, if you already did.. dont even bother with the rooms.. you said that people already booked on their own.. dont stress over one more thing
Our room blocks are in Great Neck so they are expensive.. 195-200 per room per night.. we also got them a cheaper hotel a town away for 135
edt to add that this is for friday night but its the 4th of July weekend so everything is $$$

Our rooms for a sat night in aug were a rate of 159 at la quinta in garden city... there really wasnt anything much cheaper that was decent-looking

I'm paying $159 for a friends wedding on a friday night at the islandia marriott and they are providing shuttle service to flowerfield

Please keepin mind that my Wedding is in November, so I'm not sure if your rates would be any different. I suggest you check into the fox hollow hotel, Marriot Fairfield in Syosset, and Woodbury Executive suites. They'll all pretty close 2 your RH. If you have any more questions FM me. Hope this helps!
