Blocking hotel for Flowerfield wedding

My wedding is on GOOD FRIDAY next year. April 18, (I know it was not a good catholic thing to do, but I am a teacher and have limited time off) LOL! Anyway, I need to block rooms, I am DRAGGING with my planning. Do I block rooms for just the friday, or for thursday and friday? I dont know how to go about this? Thanks ladies for the help. Also, is anyway else getting lazy about the planning? I need motivation. I havent touched my planner in two months! HELP!

My cousin is getting married at Flowerfield's next New Year's Eve. What hotels are you blocking rooms at?? Which are closest (and nicest) to Flowerfields??

We used the Holiday Inn Express for my wedding on a Friday in April at Flowerfield. They were really great! The shuttle bus is free and i think $25 after midnite (no biggie) and they even made many more trips than they had said they would. I would recommend this hotel, it is not as fancy as some of the bigger hotels off the LIE, but it is so convenient for Flowerfield, and they don't make you pay for rooms you don't use.
