Re: blocking hotel rooms?
Just a warning for all brides. There ARE hotels that WILL charge you for rooms that are not booked, so be sure to ask. The Hyatt Windwatch charges you any rooms that are not booked if you block 10 rooms.

Re: blocking hotel rooms?
Yea, I was going to say find out what their limits/ small print are before blocking anything. Harrison House was very clear about saying if you block 25 rooms, you have to pay at least for 10, if you block 30, you have to pay at least for 15.
I blocked rooms at the Huntington Hilton and there was no fee but if they rooms werent reserved by May 3rd (a month before my wedding), then the hotel puts them back up on the market so to speak.

Hello,
I blocked forty room at the Radisson Hotel at JFK and did not cost a thing. You should give them a call and talk with them. It was pretty easy to do
