here is my question - i only have about 10-15 oot guests. there are not really any hotels close to my hall, except the gc hotel, which is insanely expensive. i wasn't planning on blocking any rooms anywhere, now i'm wondering if i should. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I think I would try to contact other hotels that are a little further away just to get prices. Will your OOT guests have cars? If so, they should be able to get there. Otherwise, you could just compile a list of hotels and if your OOT guests ask for help, you could provide them with it.

heres the thing, very close friends of my fh's mom & dad, their daughter is in our bp, they are from PA, and they want to rent a limo for the day. so i assume that once they drive in, they will rent the limo and use that. the other oot guest, will most likely drive also so there is no need for them to rent cars. i can't even think of any hotels in the area.

has anyone gotten any information about blocking hotel rooms yet?? I heard that some hotels will only let you block 9 months in advance... is that true?

i don't know about that, but it sounds right. i just don't want to block the rooms and then get stuck paying for them.

I contacted one hotel that didn't even have rates for next year yet and the other was willing to block rooms now but were out there in price. Some hotels also want you to book 10 rooms were others only require 5. Make sure you ask.
