Am I supposed to do this even though I don't have any OOT guests??? I have to mail my invites out soon and I wasn't sure what is customary!

Re: Blocking Hotels?
I am not sure it's required, but it does give your guests an option to stay at a hotel as opposed to driving home after the reception. I had 2 local guests already tell me that they plan on booking a room. If you're not sure if you should do it or not, make sure you chose a hotel that does not require a deposit on your behalf.
ETA: I'd look into blocking rooms soon, there is another girl on here who is getting married the same weekend and had challanges blocking rooms b/c there is a BIG horse race, I think the Belmont Stakes the same weekend!

I would block the rooms anyway, do it in a way where there's no committment on your part for payment for unused rooms. That way people have the option.
