Blocking out rooms at hotels

Where are you blocking out rooms and how much of a discount are you getting for each room and how much will your guests be paying for a room? (If you don't mind sharing)

I am blocking rooms at the Harrison House at Glen Cove. The guests are paying $139 a night... only a ten dollar disocunt. FMIL booked it all so I didn't really have anything to do w/ it but I would have bargained more... But hopefully people can share rooms and cut the price.

I called a bunch of places and got prices from $119-$129 for holiday inn

$129 for Red Roof
$129 for Wingate Inn'
$159 for Hiltion Garden Inn

And $170 for Garden City Hotel.

I actually went on line to see how much it would be to book the room with out blocking for the wedding and some places it was cheaper.

I got about a $20 discount from each hotel.

I blocked out rooms at the Wyndham Watch Hotel in Hauppauge and it is $109 a night!!

the fox hollow inn for 179 it is about a 50 or so discount from their norm and also the woodbury best western at 119 a night. i don't know what the discount was for the best western.
