Blocking rooms at Huntington Hilton or Melville Mariott?

Blocking rooms at Huntington Hilton or Melville Mariott?

We're looking to block rooms at either hotel for our OOT guests. I'll probably get ready at the hotel with the BM, and we'll probably start our pictures at the hotel also. Shuttle service would be a plus. We're hosting a brunch the morning after the wedding.

Which hotel do you think would be better for something like this? Do either of these hotels have gardens or other spaces for pictures? What should I ask when I block the rooms? Other suggestions for hotels in the Huntington area?

TIA!!!

The Hilton is better to take pics at, but I personally like the Marriot better to stay in.

We blocked off rooms at the Hilton and so far they've been great.

We blocked at Marriot. All I got was the run around at the Hilton...when I said I wanted to come into talk with them.

I believe Hilton has the shuttle.

We booked Huntington Hilton--seemed MUCH more organized and the guy who booked us said there are some great spots to take pics...JMO but I'm psyched about the features there...best bet is to see them in person..I found that the woman at the Marriott was very difficult to reach, whereas at the Hilton, I can email or call, it's great! Good luck!

I booked rooms at the Marriott and have been VERY unhappy. Am happy to provide more details via forum mail if anyone is interested. They definitely do not provide a shuttle.

Look at the Sheraton Four Points in Plainview - I've only spoken with them on the phone but they were very helpful!
