Bloomingdale's Registry Returns

If we want to return our registry gifts back to Bloomingdales, will we get cash back or store credit? I hear something about opening a card with them and only then you can get cash, but they won't tell you this when you're doing the registry.
Anyone know if you can get cash back? Thanks!

I'm going to say you wouldn't get cash back unless you have the original receipt. Usually when you get a gift, the person gives you a gift receipt which will give you a gift card towards another purchse. I don't any store that will give you cash back without a receipt.
