This is my reception dress (I'm having an indian wedding). As you can see, it's blue! The florist recommended white tablecloths and tall centerpieces with white flowers and 1 or 2 blue orchids in each.
I also really like this blue cake (I'd want mine a little darker to match my blue).
What other colors are nice or should I just stick with blue and white?
Maybe gold? Or a yellow/orange? What other colors are in the dress, it's tough to tell from the pic....I think a pop of gold/orangey could be gorgeous....

that pic is very dark! There's a little bit of pink/fusia and some gold.
Where these colors go? In the centerpiece?

Traditionally there are no bridesmaids in indian weddings.
I will be wearing a dark red dress for the wedding ceremony and changing into this blue one for the reception.

Ahh I see....so do you still have a personal bo-k? Are you doing all white for that? Maybe wrapped with a gold ribbon, and then for the reception you could add just a few pops of hot pink to the CPs? I think that would be cool....but maybe too much going on, not sure....

Ok that makes it easier then! I would do all beautiful white flowers for the ceremony (if there are flowers there) and then for the reception when you have changed, the white with touches of blue and hot pink! gorgeous!

that wedding cake looks similar to my cake. See pictures in my album!
I had blues & whites & my florist put light pink peonies everywhere. It looked beautiful.

since your beadwork is gold, i think hot pink would be a great compliment to the blue and gold. Or orange/yellow if you want a really bold look.
