So at first, i was having a very informal wedding...I wanted to keep it low key and simple...needless to say, my quiet, small informal wedding is 'having babies,' as my older wiser co-worker put it. I had originally told my girls to just choose a beautiful black dress to wear, but now I'm not sure. I don't think any of them have gone out looking yet, and I was just wondering how many of you girls had your BMs wear different dresses and do you like that idea?
I'm doing the same exact thing. First, I don't want the whole matchy matchy thing. Second, all of my girls are very different in sizes and age, so I thought it would be better if they selected something they were comfortable in. Plus, I don't want them to spend a fortune because I asked them to be a part of my wedding.
I have not decided yet, but when we go dress shopping, if my girls can't agree on one type of dress, I think I will let them each choose a dress that they like but all the same color, just so they are all comfortable and happy.
Go for it, I am picking the color, they can pick the dress, Long, Tea. I don't care as long as they are the same color.
i think different dresses in the same color look great...and i have also seen the same dress in all different colors look nice...here's a pic from FH's cousins wedding :)
I was going to do this for my girls. I narrowed it down for my girls to the color, designer, and length. They all picked the same dress.
My MOH is wearing a different dress but the BMs are all wearing the same. I dont think there is anything wrong with letting them pick their own dress in the same color. It lets them keep their personalities
