I origionally wanted sage green for the BP. I love green, and for a May wedding, it seemed so pretty And then I saw the color on my sister (who's my MOH). She looked awful. She's got porcelain complexion and dark hair, and the pastels she tried on totally washed her out. What are some slightly deeper colors that I can use for a spring wedding?
ETA: there are a few prospective BM dresses in my album, opinions?

I am so lost too, I have people who are very fair, tan, blonde and brunette. I don't want to do pink, purple or anything pastel. So, I am thinking Tiffany Blue for a July wedding. Thats an option that could work. Let me know what you think.

A lot of sage's have grey-ish undertones which tend to drown lighter skin out (like mine). Did you try different shades of sage maybe with a more green-ish hue to it. That is such a pretty color. Would you consider a shade of blue? Like a slate blue. And I don't think Tiffany blue is considered a deep color but I think it would compliment anybody's skin/hair color. That's my BM's color I definitley would suggest it.

Even though it's a really dark color... I love navy for spring/summer weddings. It's just such a crisp color.

I like navy too, but my FMIL already called it for her dress. And my best friend just did a tiffany/cornflower blue. (Pics in my album for thse that want ideas; her pictures were gorgeous).
Anyone have any pictures of a violet / lilac? I just don't want a bunch of BM's looking like Barney.....

That's kinda sh*tty that you FMIL would 'call' her dress color. Really she should be waiting until you officially pick your colors before picking her's.
