Bm dilema... I think.........

I have been friends with Lisa since we were 3yrs old and my mom and her mom have known each other since jr. high! They lost touch and refound themselves while Lisa and I were in pre kindergarten. Now we are both 31 and have been thru a lot together- her dad passed , and my both parents have passed. We have always remained close. She is single and is not dating anyone seriously, which I am sure is bothering her. Back in the fall, I wanted to bring her to the store to try on BM dresses just to see if the one I liked looked good on her, and of course it did, she has like a flawless body. (UGH!) anyway,it took us months to get her to get together with me on a date to look at the dresses, it felt like it was on her terms,(I am a very laid back person and so is FH) we were literally playing phone tag, I had posted about this problem , now she has been playing phone tag with me all over again, since February!!! Well, to make a long story short, she calls me when she knows I am not home, or making dinner, etc. I have responsibilities-I am trying to clean out my parents home to make it my own, FH is trying to officially move in , I am planning a wedding without my mom and dad, etc. She leaves this nasty message on my machine last night about how I am impossible to get in touch with and when she does get me, I am very busy - I try to talk to her, it is all about her, and I cannot get in a word edge wise. I am starting to regret asking her to be in the wedding, any advice? PS No one else seems to have this problem with getting in touch with me.

Just call her back and let her know when it is the best time that you can be reached in the future and ask her the same thing. Let her know you have been trying to reach her just as much. I wouldn't get too involved with it, some people just are clueless that others have a life too. If she's important to you, it's just personality clashes. She apparently cares about you or she wouldn't care if she got in touch with you or not.

Can you email her to set up dates and times? My BMs are busy girls and spread out all over the place so the best way is always via email. Then once we meet up in person we get to really 'catch up'. I hope you can work it out with her b/c it sounds like you have a lot of history with her and it would be sad to let it go during such a special time in your life.

I think you have to talk to her and find out what times you are both available. You both seem like you are very close and can resolve this.
