BM dinner or lunch suggestions

So I want to have a gathering at my apt for my BM since we have not actually all been together at once. My MOH lives in FL so she can't attend...and one more BM may or may not be there...if she still decides to be in the wedding by the end of the week.

So I am not the greatest cook! I have been learning the past year once me and my FH moved in together. So I need suggestions on what to make or buy for them. That is easy...and cost effective. Doing at my house to save $.

It will be a wine and dinner/lunch.

So quick easy dinner suggestions to feed 3 ladies would be great. Mind you simple yet yummy is key for me cooking it...and if I am buying it...then just cost effective.

i say your easiest thing would be a brunch...
make mimoasas and get some bagels and you are set!!!

You can do wine and appetizers. Get crackers, cheese, pigs in a blanket, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, pizza bites, potato skins etc. You can get all the frozen stuff really cheap at Target and it's super easy - all you have to do is throw it in the oven on a baking sheet!

Grilled Chicken Breast, Roasted Potatos?

I wish I could make that! Lol

And never made lasagna. Maybe regular pasta.

Oh yea? I don't have a costco card only bjs...so they probably have one too.

appetizers or do a big baked ziti and wine!

Ziti is like the easiest thing to make and its cheap and filling!

I've made ziti...never baked ziti...lol.

One of my BM is vegn so need different options...and ziti will not go with a vegan diet. lol

you can go Mediterranean and make/buy a whole bunch of finger foods...

hummus
pita/pita chips (so easy to make your own)
stuffed grape leaves
olives
veggies
roasted peppers
buy frozen spanikopita triangles and bake them off
a big salad

or mexican!

make some guac
buy some salsa
chips
corn and black bean salad (corn, black beans, red peppers, cilantro, onions, lime, some jalapeno if you want it spicy)
cheese quesadillas (you can bake them in the oven)

Stop n shop has so many platters to pick from. We usually get them for get-togethers. They range from cheese n crackers to fruits veggies and wraps. Very gpod too!

Yea I usually get the cheese and crackers from waldbaums...no stop and shop around me unfortunatley
