BM drama... Updated

I just set up an appointment to get my girls measured for the dresses this Thursday night. Once again, everyone can come except for fh's sister (the baby bo-k lady remember?) And again, its her daughter that calls saying that she can come but her mom has something work related to do.... at 8:00 on a thursday night.... whatever... she really hasn't had any imput on this wedding whatsoever. Then she starts questioning (again) why she even has to get measured since she's like 7 months prego right now. All through her daughter. I've concluded that I'm just going to order her a size 14 and get it altered later. Like this she doesn't have to worry about making an excuse as to why she can't make it this weekend.

It's just frustrating bc I text all my girls info and its always just her 14 year old daughter that answers on behalf of her and her mom. What? She can't pick up the phone once and speak to me herself? We have an ok relationship and she and her husband are only in the bp bc fh really wanted her in it. I don't care why she's not interested but she is NOT going to delay this whole dress scenario any further.

Ugh... vent over...

That is so obnoxious. I agree with ordering her a size 14 and letting them alter it. Eff that... if it takes away some of the stress, then do it!

Don't stress over it. Ask her what size she is regularly and let the salon know. You don't need to worry about this stuff now.

Well, he knows that me and her and her husband don't really get along anymore.... I wanted to kinda keep him out of it. I mean, its my bm situation and I don't want him really getting involved. I don't want to ruin anything between him and his sis. I think if it was a bigger situation I would address him but its annoyances. Does that make sense?

That is so frustrating! She is being difficult & if she didnt want to be in the Wedding party she could have just told you rather than give you a hard time. Good Luck! Hope things work out!

I'd probably tell her that if she can't come, I'm just going to order her a dress and she'll have to get it altered.

That must be so frustrating!

UPDATE:

I just txt her and told her, 'don't worry about going to the shop. Give your daughter money for your dress and I'll order you a bigger size. What's your normal size?' To which she replys, 'No, I'll go. Just give me the address and i'll meet you there.' So I did.... ok so now she's not busy.... i was surprised she even answered me....

Let's see what happens tomorrow...
