How long in advance does the bridesmaid should order their dress???

It just depends I think on where you buy it. My girls got theirs at David's Bridal and they only took 6-8 weeks to come in other places I think take longer. I would do probably 6-8 months prior to the wedding just to make sure. JMO

I know that there are girls that go 1yr or more before. I think it is all up to you. Just remember that sometimes your taste changes or you see the new dresses for the season and wish you had waited.

My BM dresses were ordered between 3 to 6 months before the wedding and there was plenty of time for alterations for all of the dresses. the dresses came in within a couple of months of ordering.

My girls ordered their dresses and got them in about 2-3 months. They really don't take as long as the bridal gowns do.

it depends on the bridal store and manufacturer....
we had to order ours 8 months in advance!

I was told it takes about 3 months for ours....My girls are going to start ordering them soon...
