I haven't started looking at any stores yet, but I started by looking at the designers online. I found the dresses I liked in the same fabric and color and am going to call different places to see which places have those dresses. I like about 10 dresses by watters & watters, so I will call with the numbers and see which places have the most and then my girls pick the ones they want to wear. I am actually going to call bridal reflections first since I ordered my dress there.
I would stick with same designer, same fabric, same color. If you pick the same color and same fabric with different designers, the dress colors might be slightly different in color. If you pick the same designer they should use the same cloth roll to do the dresses in. At least that is what I was told from a wedding I was in once. They waited until all the bridesmaids had paid to put in the order, so it would be from the same piece of cloth.
hii!! yea thats what i wanted to do, same designer, with the same color and fabric but i dont know where to go lol, i have such a BIG bridal party and everyone has such different bodies and i want everyone to feel comfortable. im hoping bridal reflections has that since i got my dress there but i have a feeling they dont lol.
yes def!
also, totally off topic, im soooooo glad were off monday lol
I know! :)
If you choose a designer, a length and a color, BMs can go to any bridal salon and order their dresses. My sister got hers in colorado and my BMs got theirs in the city. We did that for my sister's wedding too. Just check out the designer's site and check the Store Locator section to see if there's a local salon that sells them so they can try them on. My sister did Watters and Watters and I used Alfred Angelo. With such a big party, you could also do separates where you can pick a skirt and they can all pick different tops.
any salon would do that for. For example if you are using Jim Hjelm they should be able to order any Jim Hjelm for you. Just stick to a particular designer, fabric and you should be fine.
