BM DRESS ALTERATIONS

im a bm and i just got my dress.. the wedding is end of july. how far in advance do you typically need to bring it back to get altered? i plan on loosing more weight by then, so i want to go the latest possible.

any places you recommend? ( i got the dress in jersey, i dont mind taking a drive out there, but if theres a spot closer.. id rather go here)

My sister's wedding was in Feb. I started the alterations for my dress in Dec. The other girls had their first appointments in Jan. The shop the dresses were ordered from made a mess of my alterations and I wound up having to bring it elsewhere to be fixed, so it was fortunate that I had started the process early.
