Re: BM dress color
Honestly, I think it should be your choice.
I mean as far as the dress goes, you want everyone to be comfortable and happy, but the color I think you should pick.

It also depends on you. I don't really have a strong color preference, so I decided on black but if the girls had a better suggestion I was all ears. Needless to say, they all love the idea of black because they may even get to use it again.
On the other side, I'm in a wedding next week where the girl knew she wanted green. So she flat out said 'It's what I want, you'll never wear it again, but it's what I want for my wedding,' and that's fine.
If you feel strongly about it, do what you want, otherwise it never hurts to get opinions. At the end of the day, you go with what you like best.

Re: BM dress color
I'm having my girls in champagne and the MOH's in a mocha/latte shade - I told my FSIL and she said 'oh nice, but u know u have to pick a color that looks good on everybody' I remember being a bridesmaid and having to wear 2 colors that I absolutely hated but i didn't say anything because it's what the bride wanted and I wasn't about to start drama over a dress color. So I was taken back a little when she said this to me but I've talked to other people and they've said 'do what u want -it's your wedding' If u take everyone's opinion into consideration it won't feel like your wedding anymore. So to answer your question if u feel strongly about the colors u want then go with them because YOUR happiness matters most that day.

Re: BM dress color
I picked the color (champage with a taupe sash). Each girl has different taste and won't agree on a color so it's best that you save yourself the aggrovation and make the decision for the group.
The only thing I think you HAVE to consider with BM dresses is being sensitive to the BM's body types.

I didn't really give my girls a choice but did check in with them to make sure they didn't feel strongly against what I was going for.

i agree completely with bari. the colors are what dictate ur whole scheme...that should be ur choice. i would give them input on the dress itself.

It's your choice. My FMIL said my color was too dark for spring (It's called Cornflower it is Purpley Blue) but I didn't listen my FH picked out the color and it is going to loom awesome with our flowers.

Re: BM dress color
It is your decision! I want all the same color but I am giving the girls the option of picking their own stylr dress.. as long as its nice and in the same color.. I am just getting lucky that they are all agreeing on the same dress!!
