JMO --- I think the the color is a bit fall'ish/ winter'ish but like I said before if that is the color that you love and you pictured your wedding to be then go for it. If you set it up with a lighter color (like you want) if wont look too dark.

My honest opinion is that the season shouldn't dictate your color. It's whatever you want it to be. It's your day!!!

I think that if you use light pink in the flowers or other light colors along with that it will def lighten it up...I think it will look very pretty

Ditto. Use whatever color you like whenever you like. Those season/color rules are out the window these days. You can use black in July and powder blue in November, whatever you want!

I am doing Clover Green in August....why you ask...CAUSE IT'S MY WEDDING!!!! The BP said that it was too dark for summer but I really don't care!
If you like a wine color go for it! (ESPECIALLY WITH PINK FLOWERS, I THINK THAT IS SOO PRETTY!)

heck if you want a rainbow taffeta polka dot designed BM dress---you can do it!
your wedding----do what you REALLY want! did other ppl say something about the color and you are second guessing your self? i did that alot--i'd be SET on something and 100 ppl would say 'GREAT!' and the ONE person who said 'are you sure about that?' would stick with me
do whatever you want!

im not into the light colors in summer and dark colors in winter-- im using NAVY blue(pic attached) in june-- i feel if thats the color you want who cares what season it is!!!
and the pink flowers will compliment the wine color!!!!
