BM dress dilemma!!!

BM dress dilemma!!!

Ok I have had the hardest time trying to find dresses I like for the BM's. I finally do yesterday 2 of them actually the bad thing is the fabric, Charmeuse. It isn't very 'forgiving' and I don't have any BM's that are big girls however everyone has their problem areas. These dresses do show flaws easily but honeslty I really want to use them.

I know this is what Spanx are for, I just dont want my girls to feel uncomfortable. Oh side note I have 10 girls I know I won't find something everyone loves but I want to try and accomodate them as much as possible.

Also I really don't like the same color, different dresses look. No offense to anyone doing that it's just not my personal taste.

WHAT TO DO???????

I've heard spanx can be a godsend I would go with what you like! Just talk to them ahead of time and ask them to keep an open mind then make sure they try it on with spanx, I bet it will be fine!

i think you should do whatever you want...why dont you try and ask ur girls and if the majority of em like the dress do that...if all of them hate it pick a different one...i didnt that with my BMs...i took them shopping and 5 out of 7 agreed on the same dress and i loved it so i picked it..i tried to accomodate everyone but it will never work! good luck

Have them try it on..with and without spanx and see how they feel.

I know if I feel like my fat is hanging out all over the place I dont look too happy in pics and my unhappiness shows. Plus I know for me it doesnt look too flatterinig in pics.

Thats what I am afraid of. I mean I wouldn't wear these dresses without spanx but I would also wear them... I am actually the one who tried them on and loved them. I am about the same size as my biggest girl she is just a little shorter

So I'm in a similar situation...I'm in a wedding this year where the dress is tea length made of polyester...this dress CLINGS to me. I'm not a big girl, but like you said everyone has their areas. Personally, i hate the dress but since its what the bride picked out, I'm wearing it. I never gave her my two cents about it, I plan on buying spanx and just being uncomfortable for 5hours.

So I would say the same to you. If its the dress you want get it, let your BM deal with it. It sounds a little bridezilla or harsh, but its your day and you should get what you love.

ITA!!!! If I had a dress I felt uncomfortable in, I would wear Spanx, suck in, and suck it up! Like you said, you have TEN girls, you are never going to find a dress that makes all of them look perfect. You shouldn't sacrifice what dress you like because of their vanity, IMO.

Ditto. If it's the dress you want, your girls will have to suck it up and deal with it. I have 7 and it's going to be hard enough for me to find something for them too. I'm sure you'd do the same for any one of them.

i try to be accomodating as possible, b/c now i am in both shoes, i'm a bride and a bridesmaid so i can see things from both angles...sometimes people don't.

Honestly, the first one on the model makes her pregnant. My theory is if the model looks bad...us normal folk will look awful.

I think the 2nd is more flattering.
