BM dress for MOB?

BM dress for MOB?

Does anyone know of MOB dress stores that do NOT look like typical MOB dresses? My mom is more fashion forward and hates MOB dresses. I can't blame her either- most of them look terrible and so matronly. AND they are SOOOOO expensive for some reason... Our other option was just getting a long strapless chiffon bridesmaids dress and adding sleeves to it

My mom bought a Noir by Lazaro bridesmaid dress as her MOB dress. It looks really pretty on her and was around $240. It's style 3237. That line though has a bunch of really nice dresses that would work for a mom. Same for Jim Hjelm (not all but some of his dresses).

My mom bought her dress from Bloomingdales. She too is more fashion forward and didn't like any of the MOB dresses. Check all the dept stores

My mom and FMIL both got strapless bridesmaids dresses from David's bridal. They both felt the MOB dresses were too old fashioned for them.

My Mom's going to be hitting department stores and is looking online as well. She definitely doesn't want something that makes her look like a super old lady.

My mom got hers from Estelle's. For my sister's wedding, she wore a two piece set from a bridesmaid collection which was very fitting for her. It wasn't too matronly but it also didn't look like it was made for a teenager.
