Sooo I wanted a very particular color, which was very difficult to find in bridesmaid dresses but is very popular for regular dresses, I finally found a BM designer that made it and went with the BM dresses that they had.
Now I am thinking the dresses are very plain and thats just not my style, but it took me forever to be somewhat satisfied with these I really don't want to start the process all over (and go back and forth to the city) but I think I can find something better in a regular dress style, which is usually more fashionable.
What would you girls do???
edit: I'm doing different styles here are 3 of the dresses, the purple one is the color, what do you think, looking at them again, i kinda like them more hah? idkk

Let's see a pic of this dress! You have time so if you really aren't happy, it wouldn't hurt to wait it out and try to find what you like.

I think it should be something you are happy with.... i dont think it matters if it is called a 'BM dress' whatever your BM's are wearing will be a BM dress you know what I mean? plus, if its a regular dress, maybe they can get more use out of it which I think is important.

only put a deposit on one, im hoping we can get it back, I like them I just think they're very stiff, typical bridesmaidy and I wanted something more fun/funky.

How much of a deposit did your BM leave? If you find something you love a lot more, and the deposit wasn't a whole lot, even if it's nonrefundable you could just eat the cost for her... but if they haven't ordered yet and haven't gotten deposits from your other BM's I'll bet they'll give it back
What other dresses did you have in mind?

thats the thing I don't have anything in particular, I saw some in the city, I'd need to go look though.

I really like the one thats blue - I mean they are all pretty but they are def BM dresses. If you want something more fun, then go for it!! Can't hurt to shop around, but you might want to call asap about the deposit.

Do you want satin or can it be chiffon? There is a color that is very similar to that purple called exotic fuscia belsoie makes it its an iridescent chiffon and you can get it in a bunch of styles. check out the colors of belsoie tiffany chiffon, I know how you feel about them being plain. My sales girl told me my dress with busy bm dresses was too much and to go with something simple. I did go with something simple, but the color isn't flat with the iridescent chiffon and thats what gives the dresses that umph!!!
