I know I definitely want long dresses that are close to navy blue in color and close to chiffon in fabric. I'm not opposed to choosing a color, fabric and length but letting my girls choose the cut but other than David's Bridal I can't find anywhere I can really do this. Do any of you girls know of designers this idea works well with?
There are a bunch. Bill levkoff, Jim hjelm (and you could do alvina valenta styles as well since they use the same fabric), and dessy group just to name a few. Bridal reflections has these styles or village bridal in Babylon.
Bill Levkoff makes gorgeous chiffon gowns. I went to a store with my friend the other day to look around, and the navy blue color is gorgeous. Burton's Bridals in Melville has great prices too. My cousin got a long chiffon Bill Levkoff BM dress there for 160
I did this with Bari Jay dresses- they all chose a style in one particular fabric.
