BM Dress Issues - Need Suggestions Please!

When MOH ordered her dress, she got a bigger size knowing she would be preggers at my wedding. Well the dress came in, and it barely fits now, meaning it def WON'T fit her at my wedding (still 4 months away!)

Attached is a pic of the dress and color - it's by Alvina Valenta. I wanted all the girls to be in the same dress, but this is clearly not going to happen. SO, let me konw what you guys think.

1) Should she try to get a maternity dress in the same color? Jim Heljm has some, but they are chiffon whereas the BM dress is satin.

2) OR should she get a different shade of purple - perhaps lavender?

3) OR should she wear black dress and have a sash made out of someone's hem so that the sash is the same fabric/color as BM dresses?

I don't think so - she's going to be 7 months at my wedding, and it's tapered around the belly area, so don't think that's going to work. When she ordered the dress, she thought she'd be at most 5 months preggers, so it's a bit of a surprise.

I would go a different color maternity dress. You can't make a regular dress into a maternity dress without destroying it.

I think if she did a black chiffon dress or any black maternity dress w/ the purple sash would look great. She is the MOH so it's totally ok for her to stand out as long as you are ok w/ that look.

I think maybe going with a maternity bm dress would be best. Pregnancy is unpredictable At least in the maternity dress she will have the extra room if she needs it and she will prob be more comfortable. If her dress is different its ok because shes your MOH!
