I have about six girls are all different shapes and sizes. I decided long ago I wasn't going to make them wear the same dress. But I figured I would have to make the because I'm having a medieval theme. Well I figured out for my reception dress I would alter my old prom dress from 11th grade. Its a black ball gown. So its perfect and easy to alter to make my medevial gown. I was thinking for my BM to go to the good will and discount stores to find dresses that we could alter to make into BM dresses. What do you all think?

Re: BM Dress opinion
I just want to the Renaissance Fair upstate this weekend. The clothing is expensive. I don't think you can find a `new' outfit for under $250. I would check the good will stores. As long as you and your girls are ok with that.

Re: BM Dress opinion
It's a really good idea, as long as it's cost effective. If you know someone who is good w/ the sewing needle then definetly go for it.
