BM Dress Opinions

I think I found my BM dress!!!! I will attach a link to the pic. It is chiffon and gorgeous! very elegant...the strips hanging down under the model's arm are what you tie the halter with and they drape down the back which is open...I love it!

Here is my problem though....I wanted to do a dark blue shade, lighter than navy, but am wondering how it will look. Also the colors they say are available on the website are different from the ones they showed me in the store!!!

My 2 sisters, who are both MOH, want their color to be different and they want the darker shade, which is fine, but I am wondering how the dress will look...I can't change the colors on the website....

Has anyone used this dress or seen it somewhere in a different color?

Sorry can't help with the color question. The color on display is beautiful though. Love the dress...Wondering if it's expensive though?

I love that dress. I wanted to use it until I saw it on a couple of my girls. It was stunning and slimming; however, it's pretty low cut. My MOH is an F (5'2 and weighs 110 lbs). There was no way I could put her in that dress b/c she would've looked like a stripper.

The girls who tried it on were so upset to have to take it off b/c it truly looked gorgeous on them.

To answer your question, every boutique I've seen it in has had the sample in black. As for the available colors, Jim Hjelm hasn't completely updated the website. Some colors showing up as available on the site have been discontinued. The swatches in the stores are the colors which are actually available.

my bm's tried it on true, with the different chest sizes of each of them we couldn't do it.

Thank you for the color info NYTherapist...I was starting to panic!

I think it is dumb of the designers to send the dresses to every boutique in one color...makes it hard to get a true feel of what the dress will look like.

The dress was flattering on both of my MOH's (whose bodies are very different) and I liked it on me too (yes, I tried it on also!)

I really love it...it is very classy...

I love Jim Helm dresses! My girls are wearing JH3635 in blush pink. I love the middle part of your dress where it all gathers together. So pretty!

I love your dress. Definitely a good style for BM's that a re concerned about their weight since the halter gives the illusion of lean and long. Great choice!
