i think it looks great. just remember that some of your guests may be wearing black dresses, so i'd say make them to the floor over cocktail to distinguish from your guests if you are concerned about that.

I was thinking of the dress exactly as it is (black dress, fuchsia sash). I really wanted color, but the dress looked so nice on my cousin when she tried it on today.
I'd planned to have solid, fuchsia (raspberry)dresses for my BMs. I am so confused.
I think black bridesmaid dresses look great, but I'd be a little concerned for the pictures, particularly ones at night. The bright sash does seem to fix that, though! If you love black and plan on using it as your wedding color, I'd say go for it.

That comment just made my decision for me; Thank you. Our ceremony is well after sunset. I hadn't even thought about how poorly the black would photograph.

i think it looks very classic and flattering, i understand wanting color but if it were all bring pink w/ a black sash i think it may look alil harsh.

I totally agree. I was only considering this dress if I got them in black with a pink sash, not vice versa.

Personally, I LOVE it!! Very classy but fun at the same time with the fuschia and thy look great in pics and EVERYONE looks good in black!

Oh the dress is pretty! It will be perfect with a colored sash. Go for it! As for pictures just make sure it is in a very well lit area.

My girls wore black dresses, all different dressed and I LOVED IT! They didn't look like they were just a guest because even as a black tie perferred on invites most people wore long colored gowns or short black cocktail dresses. Also the girls were all in the same material and I seriously was so happy they still stuck out (plus there hair and make up was done). If you add a sash that will look pretty too. I've attached a picture...
