Hey All! I have been looking at posts and seeing everyone mention the BM dresses taking 3-4 months to come in. I am hoping to order my dresses in the next week or so and my wedding is in June. Is that bad??? I just want to know the dresses are here and not late, and also i really want a color swatch so i can do flowers and I can't get that with out ordering.
What are your thoughts? Am I OK to do it now???

i say the earlier the better! especially because it might take awhile for all of your BM's to get measured.

You definitely have a lot of time but better do it now and get that out of the way. Depending where you go they might provide you with a swatch of the fabric.

Yes I think you should order them. I am ordering mine very soon and my wedding is July. Ask the store for a swatch, thats what I am doing. The florist also mentioned, if i can one time bring in the actual dress to hold the flowers up against, but that wont be for months so I dont know about that.

I do not think that's bad but you have enough time. I did the same thing with my girls because I wanted the color swatches for invites, flowers, etc.
I am getting married in April and they're ordering their dresses within the next two weeks. They also said about 3-4 months so I'm hoping we have them sometime in Feb so they have a month to do alteration.
The only suggestion that I have is to make sure these are the dresses that you want. If they are then go right ahead and order them

i think you're ok to do it now. every shop told me i need to order around november to play it safe.
