BM dress places?
You should check out RK Bridal in the city. They have a large selection. You can check their website first and make a list of the items that you are interested in.

My girls just got a short chiffon dress from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They had a lot to choose from.

I just went to RK Bridal today with some of my girls. There wasn't anybody helping us look for dresses and then a lot of the dresses were really small so my niece in law was getting frustrated. Hopefully Bridal Reflections that everyone is recommending works out for you. I also went to Here Comes the Bridesmaid today. It was a much better experience there.

We went to both bridal reflections in Carle place & the one in massapequa. The one in Massapequa is nicer. At least the dressing rooms re! The people at both were really nice and helpful. I gave them a list of dresses I wanted to loom at and they picked them all out for me. So I'd see if you can go with a list. Made it a lot easier.

I had a great experience at Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook. I got my BM dresses from them and my sister used them last summer.

What are the price points for these places? I really feel bad having them spend more than $150 on a gown they will probably never wear again. I wish I had the budget where I could just buy the gowns for them. Alas, I'm not a millionaire.

Jenandivan - Wedding Center in commack has nice dresses cheaper than most places. You can go out there and tell them your price cap & they will pick out the dresses for you or like tell you where to look. My mom got her MoB dress there.

I have a $150 store credit at DB in LIC, and my MOH will be using that to get her dress. I'm not sold on matching dresses, as long as they're 'Horizon' or a royal blue. I want to give my girls freedom to find something they love at the price they can afford as long as it's royal blue. I'm not sure I'm going to care if the shades are off by one or two, so I'm wondering if I can mix and match the designers too.
I just don't want to appear demanding and ungrateful to my girls. Am I being TOO accomodating?

No. You can do whatever you want, so it's nice that you are being accommodating. I am too mathematical so I like things symmetric and matching, but that's just me. I tried to find something that they all liked, but its hard.
I would think about telling them to all pick from a matching fabric. Like all chiffon or all satin. Mismatched dresses can look nice when they are all the same length in the same fabric.

We ordered through Here Comes the Bridesmaid. Not only were they really nice, they had the best prices. They all got a different style in the same length and fabric, and just as an example one girl's dress was $225 at Bridal Reflections, and $157 at Here Comes he Bridesmaid.
All the girls tried the dresses on elsewhere and then I went and ordered them at Here Comes the Bridesmaid. I'll pick them up from there when they come in, too so none of the girls have to go to the city unless they want to.

Sounds great! I'm glad they were so cheap compared to other places. I have some BM in other states so I'm going to have them try on dresses near them and see if we can order all of them from Here Comes the Bridesmaid.
