BM Dress Poll

Just found two good options today wanted to see what you girls thought. Our wedding is June 7th of next year...Sat night black tie so we need floor length to be formal enough as our guests...take a look...I have girls of all shapes and sizes so it has to be forgiving...The halter comes in a light yellow and the Bill L comes in a gold...We are thinking of an ivory, light yellow, & celadon combo...

If I am giving my absolute honest opinion, I have to say that I don't think a low back halter in a light yellow is very 'forgiving', although it is a very pretty dress.

If your girls would be comfortable in a strapless, I'd be more inclined to go with the Levkoff.

I know that the yellow sounds scary and would normally totally agree with you...but this one looked good...i had two of my girls with me and they are both irish skin toned and it worked...finding one color and running with it has been my hardest decision...i keep trying to stay away from balck because my guests will all be in black and i wanted the BM to stand out...

You know your girls and what is flattering on them, so if it works that is great! They're both really pretty dresses so I'm sure whichever you decide will look lovely!

So I was all pumped on the second one...my BM's and you girls (85%) all liked it better ...and then FH says he hates it Are your guys getting a vote ( I know that sounds awful) or do I just convince him that it's the right choice (which I really think it is...)

i like the first one. i can picture a yellow dress in that type of flowy material better. i really love halters personally, but not everyone can pull them off. i voted for number one, but i think if you have lots of body types then number 2 may work better for your girls.

by the way, these yellow dresses are gorgeoous! i think the color will be very nice.
