For those of you that have BMs in different states/locations - are you just decidign on style and designer and then letting BM get dress on own?
I guess I am asking since some brides concerned with all dresses being cut from same dye lot but I think with OOT BMs- that cannot work.

I just had my girls call in their measurements and we ordered them all at once.

I decided I didn't really care about dye lots and we ordered from netbride (which does guarantee dye-lot matching if you get all the same style, but I had each girl get a different style). This way they got shipped to the girls automatically and the prices were GREAT!
It worked out perfectly!

i just told them the specific dress (brand and style number, and color) and looked online for a store they could purchase them at in their state.
this worked out fine, and everyone had the same dress...no problems

I have one BM upstate, one is PA and one here. I picked out a bunch of dresses online and emailed them to the girls to get their opinions. Luckily we were able to coordinate a day for everyone to get together since they are in a reasonable driving distance and ended up picking a totally different dress then what we had agreed on through email. If they can't come back down to order I told them to send me their measurements and I will order them all together. I want them to all be altered at the same location.
