How many fittings to the BM get? I always assumed at least 2.. One to alter it when it comes in and a second to make sure the alterations were right..
One of my BM said thats only for the bride. What happened for your girls. Im using Fantasia Bridal.

I was a BM once - and for that I went to one fitting, all I needed was a hem. Then they scheduled one other appointment for me to try on and pick up. That was one week before the wedding.

me and my friends have always gone to our local seamstresses to do the bms dresses. it always takes one alteration. everytime we go back, it fits perfectly, so we've only need the one fitting. it could also be that there arent many alterations needed, just a hem, or take up the top a bit.

My girls had their 1st fitting last night and before they left they had to make an appointment for a 2nd fitting. I guess it really depends on the place. HTH
