BM dress question

I need help deciding on a BM dress

This was my first choice
Bill Levkoff satin

Then I found this one same dress but in taffeta

Bill Levkoff taffeta

I spoke to my MOH and she does not the difference between satin and taffeta.

I know what satin looks and feels like but I'm not too sure about taffeta.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 2? Does taffeta wrinkle easier then satin? Is taffeta lighter then satin?

Please ignore my ignorance but I just do know about all this stuff.

TIA

i dont know about the wrinkling. i personally think satin holds u in better. tafetta is not as 'stretchy'. if i explained that right..

Taffeta is more 'tissue-y' if I can make up a word It makes noise when you move in it, almost like a crinkling sound. It is lighter than satin though.

I had the tea-length version of your first dress in chocolate brown with ivory sashes. Look in my album for pictures. The dresses looked gorgeous!

And you also want to be careful with taffeta because sometimes I have seen dresses in certain colors dont photograph so well...

I love satin, my girls are wearing Bill Levkoff Satin dresses. And I think yes it does hold you in well and photographs beautifully. IMO.

What is your dress made of? I think satin is nicer for bm dresses personally.

Re: BM dress question

my girls wore taffeta dresses. No wrinkles at all. They loved them The bridal store swore they would wrinkle but it never happened

Just looked at the style of dress. I think the satin would be nicer....
