My older sister just found out that she's pregnant.. and she's my MOH... she's due January 2nd.. I'm getting married May 1st.. is that enough time to get a dress and have it altered and everything?? Should I be worried ? HELP!

It might be cutting it close. I usually takes up to 3 months for a BM dress to come in. So if you order right away after she gives birth, it will come and than she will have her alternations done.

thanks for the response... i thought that it might be close... and i hope that the dress is still available at that time... agh... something to add to my stress of wedding planning.. but at least it's a happy occasion!

My MOH is pregnant and due Jan. 8 and I'm getting married June 19 next year...I'm not waiting to order her gown - when we finally pick the gowns this summer, she'll order a larger size than she normally would and then have the alterations done accordingly after she gives birth. I have 5 bridesmaids - I would not run the risk of trying to do it AFTER she gives birth.

Congrats!!! I don't have an answer. But I think you should ask the bridal store where you're going to order the BM dresses from.

My sister in law is pregnant also. She will have the baby months before the wedding. We ordered her gown already. I think she went one size up from her normal size, then they will fit it accordingly.
I suggest getting the dress now. Good Luck

Thanks Ladies.. I think that's what I'm going to do.. order it with the rest of them and just order it a size bigger... then do the alterations after...

Maybe order the MOH's dress the size she is now. Then it will be ordered and will arrive as scheduled. After she has the baby it can be altered to whatever size.
