.....so, I have a big bridal party, 8 BM's, and 1 MOH..and i wanted to have everyone kind of pick out the style dress that they like,just the same color and same designer. Do you think it would look weird to have different fabrics? here's some pics..I am going to have Red as the color..do you think it will look okay?
i think it would look weird. That is what I am worried about right now with my own bridesmaids. My MOH has a schiffon overlay over her dress that makes it lok 3 shades lighter than my BM.
davids bridal suggested same color same material...... like all satin..
I think it would look weird as well.. one shiny and one more dull looking.. I would get same color same material different sizes... thats what I am doing anyway :)
I don't think it would look weird, necessarily. I intended on putting my BM's in different dresses, but I wanted the same color and fabric. I've seen pictures on here of BP's with different dresses - material and designer. I thought it looked lovely.
I think it may look a little off. Why don't you try the same color, same material, but different style dresses?

I agree they should be by the same designer so they are exactly the same red and the same material as well.
I would definitly go with the same material, but different dresses can look great!
