so what is everyone doing about BM dress shopping? are you bringing everyone at once, separate, letting them pick the dress? just wondering. i am going to look tomorrow with michellecarin (one of my BM's). it is hard getting everyone together. i will prob go again with my MOH's ( my 2 sisters) next week. i dont even know what i am looking for, so i guess i will just see what happens. i have 2 other BM's that i have to find a time when they can go as well. i am so bad at coordinating these things, lol! any suggestions?

Re: BM dress shopping?
I think I'm just going to have everyone look in some magazines and find the styles they like, pick a few and then take them all together! Then we can narrow it down and see from there...

Re: BM dress shopping?
i let my girls pick out their dress i went shopping with my moh and had her try on a million dresses... then i took another BM and had her try on the same million(i have 4 girls so i took one skinny and one a little heavier so i could make sure the dress would look ok on all)... then i picked out my 2 favoites and told them to all decided which one they liked best! they did a great job.. the girls wanted straps since they all have a pretty large chest so the strapless dress they are adding straps to. the MOH will be the onlyone strapless. i think it worked out GREAT... i also picked 2 colors and they picked that too.. i couldnt decided.. i liked both dresses and both colors equally... i prob would have gone with the dress they didnt like and then they would have been uncomfy so im ok with the idea!

Re: BM dress shopping?
I just took my MOH to try on the dress and help me pick out colors. I started an account there and that way all of the girls can go when they have time to get their measurements done. Of course if I can go with them when they are going I will, but I thought it would be impossible to get 9 girls together at the same time!

Re: BM dress shopping?
I wanted to get everyone together, but that didn't work... so each BM is going with me individually. My sister and I are going today!!
ETA: When my sister (MOH) and I went the first time, we wrote down a few dresses that we both liked. I let tne BM's loose in the bridal salon. I let them try on whatever caught their eye, plus the dresses on my sister's list. We eliminated dresses that we didn't like. Now we're down to two. When I go with my sister today, we're ordering whichever dress looks better on her.

Re: BM dress shopping?
I went with my MOH to pick out the dress and help with the color selection. I am going this Saturday with all of my girls except for 1, she lives in AZ. she is going to fax her info to the Bridal shop.

Re: BM dress shopping?
I can't wait to go Heather!!!
On a side note, I am going to have quite the difficult time with BM dresses. I have fourT girls here in LI and 2 junior BM in westchester, they will be the easy ones. Then I have FH's sisters on in CA and one in Hawaii. The one is HI is going to college in CA starting next year (this may make things easier) I have been lookiing at locations and there are so many places that don't do Hawaii. Also I have one girl in Virginia, where I currently live. Getting everyone together will be impossible. Everyone is also so differently shaped. This should be interesting. Hopefully Heather and I will get some ideas on Thursday though. I think I have to go with chiffon b/c its super hot in Hawaii.
Sorry so long

Re: BM dress shopping?
I have an idea of what I like, and im only taking the MOH with me to try the dresses on. I really dont think all the BM's will agree on the design.

Re: BM dress shopping?
thanks for the ideas girls. i just dont want any of my BM's to feel left out. i might try to do a slightly different dress for my MOH's and then pick a few choices for the BM's to choose from. i think that is a good way to do it. as long as everyone feels comfortable in the dress choice.
