I would suggest going to departmental stores ex. Lord & Taylor, Century 21, Macy's, Bloomingdales, JCPenny's, etc. If you are looking for inexpensive dresses, try Forever 21, Gap, JCrew, Bebe, Ann Taylor, Rampage, Express, AE, Banana Republic, H&M for great finds!

we did Davids bridal, and I had heard horror stories about customer service, but honestly, we had no problems so far. Just don't go on a totally busy time like Sat afternoon. The prices are great, and I know in my bridesmaid color, there were 40 different styles to choose from, which totally sold me!

Thank you for all the suggestions! I am so picky when it comes to bridesmaid dresses and am worried I am going to have such a hard time finding a dress that me and my bms love. How far in advance do they need to be ordered?
We ordered ours January 31 and our wedding is November... If you feel you're going to be picky...start looking now. On average, it takes about 3 months for the gowns to come in... that's an average though, every shop is different....
