Bm dress situation

Bm dress situation

I picked up one of my bm's dresses today so i can send it to Florida with Mike.

When I ordered it and gave them the BM's measurments, I was told she measured a perfect size 6- so that is what they wrote down, but I told them not to order it until I talked to her.

To make a long story short, we (the bm and the dress place) decided she is better off with an 8, so they said they would change it. (I saw them write it down)

I just got it- it is a 6. Do I send it to florida and hope it fits? Have her try it and if it doesn't she can send it back with mike and I can throw a fit then?

Also- the original reciept says size six. i do not have it in writing that I wanted an 8.

If she really is a 6, I guess I would send it to her.
I'd still raise bloodly hell though, but that's me.

Without proof is always hard.

Well, at least it should fit if she measured to that size. I would have her try it on, but definitely still make a complaint and try to get in writing that you can exchange it if necessary.

This is a tough one because the receipt doesn't state the size 8. I would, calmly, try to tell them what happened and see if they are at all understanding. The next optin is to send it down and see if it fits. If not, perhaps a talended dress maker can help out. Good luck!

I swear the same thing happened to me this week but in this case I am the Bridesmaid and the bride mailed me my dress. Guess what? I could of sworn she ordered a size larger and it didn't fit at all! WEll, the way my body is shaped is that my back is wide. It has nothing to do with back fat, it is my bone structure (yes, i do have some back fat) but, that wasn't the issue. Even if I lost 10 to 20 lbs it wouldn't fit. Bottom line, when I got measured the woman must of written down the wrong size. NOw, I have to go and get it altered. It is too late to get the dress in another size. HOpefully, they could cut the bottom of the dress and attach it to my back! Aggravating! So I hope things work out well for you!
