BM dress vent, I just need to get it out

Today is not my day.
My BMs live all over the country, 1 in NY, 2 in NJ, 2 in MO. I tried to get them all together to look at dresses one time but we didn't find anything.
I went with my MOH (and also Rob Luvs Me too) and we found a dress I loved.
I took the 2 BM that live here in MO with me to a dress shop and they loved it. I wasn't too concerned with the 2 in NJ (my cousins) because they are model types, 5'9', perfect bodies and they look good in a potato sack.
Anyway, since I decided that was the dress, I gave my cousins the style number and they went to a dress shop in NJ to see it and try it on.
The lady in the bridal shop told my cousin the dress didn't flatter her at all. That it was totally wrong basically made her feel bad. I can't imagine her looking horrible in the style of dress.
My cousins both said that they will wear whatever I want them to but now I don't want they to be in something they hate.
Thank you for allowing me to vent. I want to call the bridal store and ***** the lady out. But I know it is not her fault I suppose. AHHHH!!!

What person in their right minds EVER tells a woman she looks unflattering??

Besides.. you, the bride, picked it out. That woman is making money off those dresses... how dare she suggest you picked an unflattering dress!

I'd be ticked off majorly.


But I tend to be proud of my choices.

call the bridal shop and talk to the lady and tell her to mind her own freaking business!!!

i'm sure your cousins look georgeous in the dresses!! she probably dind't realize that you had the dress picked out for them and thought she could get them to buy a pricier dress!!

One of my cousins is going to come with me on Sept 2 to the bridal shop in LI. I will have her try it on for me and look at some other dresses too.

She probably did want them to get a more expensive dress. Either that or she was ticked off that they were just trying it on.

Jenn, I think your last sentence summed it up! I am assumming that you will put the order in from one shop so that all the dye lots match so that woman was probably ****ed that these girls were in there just to try on and there was not going to be a sale for her!!!

You have great taste! Don't let some rude bitty stress you out. If your cousins look like you and what you described then you are right it does not matter what they will wear they will be stunning!

Tell them to forget the cranky lady!!
