BM dresses

I have a lot of girls in my bridal party and am trying to think of a dress style that will flatter them all. I know it will probably be a challenge to find one dress that appeals to each but I'm going to do my best. Any suggestions on styles I should look at that work with many body types? Thanks

I know someone who picked out the same the dress for her BM's, the dress was all in the smae color and was by the same desinger - but had the girls decide on the style of the top of the dress. For example, some wore strapless, some had a halter, ect. But it was the same same dress. Am I making sense??

I think that a v-neck with thickish straps - halter or just straps - will pretty much compliment everyone. Oh, and try to steer clear of satin if you have any girls that are self-conscious about their weight. You can't hide anything in satin. I have this same issue - my BMs range from 5'0 to 5'10 and a size 0 to a size 18/20. I'm going to try to go with something in tafetta or chiffon because it doesn't show as much as a satin. I'm not worried about the size 0's - they'll look fine in anything. I just don't want the size 18 to be uncomfortable.

I know David's bridals make's a line of two piece dresses, that way each BM can get a top that flatters them!

I'm going with seperates by Alfred Angelo. My girls are all so very different and I knew that one kind of dress wouldn't flatter them all. My MOH is getting a one piece gown, and the other girls are getting the seperates all in the same color. They have about 30 different colors and about 20 different tops to choose from.

I think separates is the way to go as well as a-line! That's what we'll be doing!
