How much did your girls pay for their BM dresses? My girls are paying $150 not including shoes

My girls also paid $150 for the dress which was a huge steal since my dresses would have cost $250 if we had bought them from the salon.

One of my bridesmaids commented that it was the least amount of money she has spent for a dress - and she has been in a lot of weddings.

At first...we picked a dress $150 total (no shoes)..but found out they didn't make it in the color anymore...

so we got a deal on a more expensive dress and it was $180 total

My BMs are paying $160.00 for their dresses. I looked around because I wanted to make sure they wouldn't be too much money. I think thats a pretty good price.

Yeah, That's why I was asking how much everyone else is charging. I was in a lot of weddings and the dresses I had to by were all over $200. I thought the one I picked was reasonably priced but I still have a bridesmaid making smart comments. She makes more than me...I am a teacher!

Bill Levkoff gowns for $120.00 the best price I found..most places wanted 160-175

My girls got an After Six (great dresses at reasonable prices) and paid $145 + $40 for alterations. With shoes, it was probably just a little over $200!

My girls are my two sisters and my FSIL. They are wearing a Vera Wang black dress. It was pricey. Almost $300! BUT - it can be worn to ANYTHING. I paid for my FH sister, and my mom treated my sisters. They are wearing whatever black shoes they want and whatever bags. And pearls. They wanted something they could wear again so this really worked out. I am getting married on the 9th of Nov. and my sister is getting married in January! She's doing all black as well - our choice - so guess who gets to wear the Vera Wang that time!

Re: Bm dresses

I decided on black for my BMs dresses because I think a black and white wedding is elegant, but also bc the dresses could be worn again. I got mine on line at www.bridesmade.com for $45!! They need to be altered slightly bc they are roomy in the the top, but they are great quality and can easily be worn again!

Mine are paying $190, which is a little high, but I took them all out and told them they could decide the dress, I would pick the color and that is what they chose. They can have whatever shoes they want dyed, and I am giving them jewelry as part of their gift.

$135, plus $35 for alterations, plus shoes - I'm thinking dyables would look best in this burgendy dress.
