So i have decided to add 2 BM's 1 1/2 months away from my wedding. Not by choice, loooong story. Any way the dresses that I first picked out for my girls i bought at JC for 60$. I will not be able to get those dresses for the 2 girls b/c JC doesn't have anymore. Does any one know where I can go to get all my BM dresses on short notice. Preferably in Nassau, Suffolk, Manhattan,or queens.
TIA

Re: BM dresses
Why don't you try to see if you can find the dress the other girls got some place else. Try e-bay, or type in the name and style number of your girls dresses into a google search. I'm sure they are somewhere. If not, you could try Estelles in Farmingdale, or you could call up some bridal boutiques. See if they will be able to accomodate you. I have been told that most bridal boutiques can get dresses in within a week, they just choose not to because the more they order at once the less they have to pay.

Re: BM dresses
I would suggest picking something from Macy's, JC Penney's, or some other large chain that has the same inventory in all it's stores. That way you can hit more than one in a day if you need to get the right sizes.

Re: BM dresses
i think the other girls should wear those dresses and the new girls should get something slightly different, similar style, same color or a color that goes well with the other dresses. its okay to have variety imo bm do not have to match.

Re: BM dresses
How many BM's total will you have now? You could get the 2 new dresses either similar to what u have or just something that would compliment the ones u already have and alternate them in to make it look like it was intentional.. for example if your existing dresses are blue, you could get the 2 new dresses as a similar style in a lighter blue and do one of the following to make it look intentional:
Blue - Light Blue - Blue - Light Blue - Blue
Blue - Blue - Light Blue - Blue - Blue - Light Blue
you get the point..
This sort of what I'm doing with my bridesmaids, but I'm having 3 colors with 5 girls:
(sage - light blue - lavendar - light blue - sage)
