BM dresses

BM dresses

Okay so I know it's pretty early in my planning stages to think about this since we haven't even booked a RH yet but ...
I've been thinking about what I want to do with the BM dresses. My sister is my MOH and she's a plus size so i want to be sure she's comfortable on that day. I thought of just having her dress different. Also because two of my BM's are her daughters and I don't know if she would want to wear the same thing as her 13 and 16 yr old's!! But I also have my sister in law who is not girly at all and I've literally only seen her wear a dress once in like 10 years. So the point of all this is that I was thinking of maybe picking a color and letting my girls all pick their own dress so they all find something they feel beautiful and comfortable in. What is everyone's thoughts? Anyone gone this route or know someone who has????

i'm doing the same......the girls have a choice of like 15 jim hjelm dresses and my color is black....i only have 4 girls and i want each in a different color i have 4 very different body types so their happy, and i'm not a matchy matchy person so i like them all in a different dress =)

Love that idea... as long as you stick with the same color/fabric it looks planned. Such a good idea so girls will all be comfortable!

It's funny - I will admit I'm a little OCD about matching sometimes but I really just want ever one to feel good about what they are wearing and themselves (having been a BM 5 times!). Are there a lot of designers that offer this -- same color different dresses?? How do I start looking them up?

The main designers for bm dresses make most of the dresses in the bulk of there colors. Just make sure they are the same material. I know someone else who is doing it as well its a nice idea. I did the opposite and I picked a dress I knew would look great on all the girls and I have a range of sizes. Either way it will look great!
