OK... I am hoping someone will be able to help. I am having a hard time trying to find a BM dress that will accomidate everyone in my bridal party. I am getting married in Dec and having a christmas theme. I was trying to find something nice that has sleeves but everything I find looks so matronly. A few of the girls have a set of boobs and have asked if I can find something with straps or sleeves.
Does anyone have any suggestions or pics of BM dresses that might work ?

Re: BM dresses
You should check out Alfred Angelo... just about each one of their dresses come in all 155 colors!! Maybe you can find something you'll like. You can also have sleeves added to ANY dress....have an addational schawl, etc. And, they don't cost an arm and a leg. HTH

Re: BM dresses
Nothing has sleeves these days..it sux..what I went through with my wedding gown...anyway..adding on does cost sooo much...almost as much as the dress itself. i recommend adding on a shawl (alfred angelos are about $40 extra, or a bolero jacket if avail. ) there are many figure flattering dresses out there..the one i picked..in my album...will be in a navy blue..and looks great on all the girls..sizes 8-20! the drop waist is what does it...

Re: BM dresses
i had a december wedding...my girls wore strapless but they had a shawl/wrap to go over it instead of getting a dress with sleeves. u can see tons of pics in my review - and i had girls with all different shapes/sizes, big boobs/small boobs, etc. lol. they all looked beautiful! good luck

Re: BM dresses
What about Davids Bridal, they have cropped jackets to go over a lot of their gowns.

Re: BM dresses
My sister did Watters and Watters dresses in pale blue Dupioni silk and we were allowed to pick our own dress. They have quite a few options with longer sleeves actually. And the fabric is not super light so you could have it for a winter wedding.
I was 30 lbs heavier at the time so I went with something like this but I cut it to tea length http://watters.com/product.php?coll=watters&showid=99
and her other BMs picked http://watters.com/product.php?coll=watters&showid=310 (you don't have to get the color blocking, you can get this dress and any of the other ones in all one color) and http://watters.com/product.php?coll=watters&showid=305
There's a TON of other options in this same fabric too.

Re: BM dresses
My sister is getting married this december.. She got Bill Levkoff dresses in Euro red, they have straps and when i tried it on, it was very comfortable!! I think it can go w/ ladies of all sizes. She got them at Lillettes, also where she bought her dress

Re: BM dresses
Sleeves maybe hard to come by so a wrap is good option. If your girls want different style tops would you consider seperate where they were the same bottom but pick a top that works best for them?
Alfred Angelo has a bunch to choose from.
I would aslo stick with aline -- flattering to all body types.

Re: BM dresses
what about a dress with a turtle neck type of a cut on top. then the front of them will be covered and then can just get shalls for their arms. it would be good for big boobs or no boobs... not sure if that helps?

Re: BM dresses
the only thing i can reccomend is maybe finding a designer and color you love and them pick that flatter their bodies so you will have the same look and everyone will be hppy
