BM dresses

EvenEdan's post got me thinking. Since so many of you don't like pastel colors, what other colors do you think would be nice for a spring afternoon wedding?

Oh no Bride04! Please don't tell me my STUPID post made you doubt your choice! I think pastel colors can be beautiful especially for an afternoon spring wedding. I've actually seen some beautiful spreads in InStyle Weddings with pastel colored BM dresses. Stick to what you like and make it your own, remember not everyone has the same taste!

Platnium would be great color for the dresses for a spring wedding!! It goes with everything!

Don't worry EvenEdan!! I haven't even picked a color yet. It's just that so many people said they don't like pastel colors. I don't want to torture my BMs! Personally, I like some of the pastel colors. I'd probably pick a different color though if it wasn't spring time and during the day.

I'm leaning towards a light blue color, but not positive about it yet. It's hard to find just the right color. Some of the blues look slightly purplish, which FH won't have. But, I also don't want baby blue.

Here is my BM dress. It is Kiwi Green. Lisa: as you know I am getting married in Sept. I think this would be a nice color for spring too.

I am getting married in the month of April and I just ordered my BM dresses. I had my heart set on Periwinkle. The vibrant colors come out so nice in pictures. They really stand out.

I was in a spring wedding and we wore a dress that was light blue, but also almost looked silver. The color was so pretty

Lisa-that color is my second choice. I like the bluish colored dress to the left of your dress (the 3rd one, next to the bright pink/peachy one). But it's kind of purple, you know? Fh doesn't like that.
Maybe I should just go with champagne.

Lisa: I like that blue color dress. Also, you should speak and see what your girls like. He has to remember that they are going to be wearing the dress not him.

I would speak with your girls too...not everyone looks good in light colors (if that's even a concern for you, whether your girls look good...some brides don't care - they just want what they like). My sister had us wear a periwinkle for a late May wedding...while the 2 blondes looked good, I hated wearing the color (as a very dark brunette). Then again, my wardrobe consists of black & black. ;)

I also want lavender dresses. What better than pastel in the spring? Of course, ALL colors are great anytime!

If you want a pastel color- there is nothing wrong with them. Some colors look different in different fabrics and from different designers. My friend is having a lavendar/silver color and the dresses are so pretty.
