They usually say 6-8 months before but it depends on the dress that you choose. My girls will probably have to order theirs around 11 months before because I think this is the last season that they may be carrying the style that I chose.
I always think the earlier the better...that way if something goes wrong you have time to correct it.
6-8 months is the general rule. I went at about 9 mths bc my moh is preggers so we wanted her to be able to get measured and try stuff on before she got too big!...I gave my girls till oct 1 to order the dresses which is 7 mths ahead. The salon said it takes 3 mths for those to come in...that gives 4 mths in case something happens and so they have time for alterations.

6-9 months is the recommended time. I am getting married in October and we won't be ordering the BM dresses until the new year.
I never thought to give the BM a date to have the dress ordered by!!! Great udea.. cause i suspect that maybe one of my girls may flake on my but at least now ill have some notice!!! Cause if they dont order by a certain time they can have to chance to bow out!
