BM Dresses

Can anyone recommend a GOOD vendor where I can go with my bridesmaids to try on dresses? Also can you guys recommend brand names that are really HOT right now? Everything I've seen by Bill Levikoff and Dessy has been SO ugly!! any other suggestions? I am only having 2 BM's so I really want to get something pretty and possibly even something that they'll wear again. Help!

Re: BM Dresses

I went to Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn. I thought so many of their dresses were very modern - the shape, fabrics, colors, attention to details like cute dresses with pockets, etc. After looking online I liked quite a few of their dresses, so i made an appointment and went with my girls and had them try on whatever they wanted, and we picked out a gown that looked amazing on all of them in a color that flattered all of their skin tones. It was a very nice experience.

Jim Hjelm, the other JLM designers, JCrew (very simple though), and just an FYI Pricilla is not at the Roslyn location anymore, they moved to Westbury I think it is, where Hick's nursery was.

Also, I love Adrienne's in Islip, biggest selection I saw anywhere and the salesperson Sophia is fantastic, super knowledgeable and helpful!

You dont need to have a bridal dress/go to a bridal store...I got mine from Nordstroms try them out or Bloomies- and its something my girls can wear again
