I went yesterday with my MOH to try on the BM dresses that I love. I absolutely love the dress even more in person, but I HATE the color that I wanted. I feel like the color is too bright and cheap looking.
My other option is to get it in navy. This designers navy isn't super dark, and it's pretty but I am afraid it doesn't fit with my theme.
The 1st pic is the original dress I wanted, 2nd is a pic of my inspiration board with the same dress in the navy color. The 3rd pics is the navy dress enlarged
What do you girls think.. Is navy too blah for June?

If you dont like the 1st color then def go with navy!!! Its not going to look out of place at all....just accent it with lighter summery colors!! GO FOR IT!!!

I think the navy is great...maybe try bringing out the dress with bright colored flowers for your BM's. I think with bright colored flowers..your pics will look amazing..

I like the first a lil better but then again it's only a picture and you saw it first hand.. I think the 2nd dress color would still work.. I was considering going with the navy and hot pink combo for my may wedding.. so I don't think navy and your purple tones would be inappropriate.. I would make sure to make all the accents and flowers focus on the purple or jewel tone colors if the dresses are navy though, this way it will bring it together and still have a summery effect

Agreed. You can have a darker dress and accent with lighter colors. If you are not sold on the first dress in that color don't settle for it. You can absolutely make the navy work

They are both really pretty! The material is nice looks like it has a shimmer to it! If you like the navy I say go for it! You can use lighter color flowers to brighten it up if you want.. Light yellow, pink, purples, they will all go nicely
