BM dresses

BM dresses

I am 18 months (minus a few days) from my wedding.
I am antsy to get a lot of stuff done (I've posted this before)
Work gets really busy in the summer and fall and housework (lawn, pool, etc) takes up a lot of my time.
Enough of the whining. lol

My questions are (may have asked part of this before): is it too soon to get bridesmaid dresses picked out? Do the girls have to buy soon after you pick out due to style changes/ etc? or can they wait ? what is 'normal' timing ? a year?

i also really want to get their jewelry picked out! (need dress idea for this)

I'm getting married next October and I'm going to look at my dress next Saturday - as soon as I have my dress purchased, I'm going to start looking for my BM's dresses. I want them to find something they love, so starting early gives us PLENTY of time.

I told my ladies the designer, the color, the fabric and they get to pick out which dress they like best. A couple of girls want to go and get their dresses soon so they know it won't be discontinued but I have 2 that aren't going until August so they can lose the baby weight

I started talking about this with my girls. I told them which color and length and i am asking them to come up with a couple dresses each. I haven't decided if I want them all in the same dress or same designer different styles. I am going to see what they come up with.
